Learning More Leads to Wiser Choices
Educators and community action groups are working with learners in schools K-12 and at the university undergrad and graduate levels, to develop programs focused on sustainable food production, preparation, processing, distribution, nutrition, and community food security.
Why? It Just Makes Sense for citizens to better understand how food systems influence health and how consumer-citizens in turn can affect change in Montana’s food system.
Is education Food Wise? You betcha. The more we understand where our food comes from and how it lands on our tables, the more each person can make Food Wise choices for themselves and their families.
